Video Feature: Standard Push Up

I had a request that push ups be my next video feature. Well, that's pretty broad! There are endless ways to complete a push up! So, let's start with the basics. Master this first and then we'll expand and add some fun variations so you'll never be bored.

It has always been my goal as a trainer to make everyone love (or at least appreciate and use) the push up. It is the single best exercise you can do for your upper body, in my opinion. Almost every muscle is called upon with focus on the chest, shoulders, latissimus dorsi (lats), and core. The key is to find the push up that matches your abilities!

*** I left out the Table Top version. If anyone would like this option, please speak up! I'm happy to share it but didn't want to overwhelm with options. This would be the level between using the wall and what we know as a "girl" or modified push up.***
